About our
Program
At Autism Muva, we believe every child deserves care that’s personal, patient, and full of love — and every parent deserves a break they can feel good about.
Our program is for kids on the spectrum ages 2-5 years old. We are located at my home in the Paseos Community of SUMMERLIN.
We keep our groups small with a 1:5 caregiver-to-child ratio so your little one gets the attention and support they need. Every staff member is trained to work with children on the autism spectrum, ensuring a safe, understanding, and joyful experience.
Parents can drop their kids off for socialization and fun during either:
-
Our Weekend Morning Session: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
-
Our Weekend Afternoon Session: 1:30 PM – 6:30 PM
-
Select Holidays, CCSD Break Days, and Monthly Parents’ Night Out
-
We also offer weekday and extended care by request if we have the availability and staff.
The weekend session is $25/hour ($125 total). Certain holidays, CCSD break days and special events might be more depending on hours and materials needed. Check our booking area for more information. Weekday sessions coming soon based on demand. We are a vendorized program through Desert Regional Center and do Accept Respite Payment through the regional center if you child is approved through them currently.
You’ll have access to our parent app, where you can receive updates, communicate with staff, and see pictures of your child enjoying their day.
Whether you need to catch up on sleep, run errands, work extra hours, or simply take care of your mental health, you can rest easy knowing your child is having fun in a safe, sensory-friendly environment surrounded by peers and caring adults.
Mission & Approach

Hi Autism Parents,
When my daughter was diagnosed with autism two and a half years ago, I was overwhelmed—twin toddlers, a career shift, and little local support. I searched for resources, documented my first year, and even wrote a book entitled, Mama You Got This, A Year in the Autism Trenches, to help other parents.
But I also learned how vital it is for us, as parents, to rest and recharge. When I couldn’t find respite care for kids my daughter’s age, I created Autism Muva—a safe, sensory-friendly space where autistic children can thrive and parents can breathe.
Welcome to the Village. Here, your child will receive the same mama-bear love I give my own twins.
If you ever have a question, concern, or a unique situation that isn’t listed on our website, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can contact me by email or phone so we can talk through your child’s needs and find the best way to support you. Autism Muva was created to serve our community — especially the amazing parents caring for our autistic kids — I’m committed to our community.
